Learn How Your Family Can Be Internet Awesome and You Can Win a New Google Pixelbook Computer!

Dear Linden Hill Families,

Raising children in the age of smartphones and social media brings new challenges and concerns for all families. That’s why we are inviting you to join the Linden Hill PTA on May 13th for our Be Internet Awesome Family Workshop. This event promotes safer and more responsible use of online technology among children and families.

During the event, we will have a parent-to-parent discussion about how to help our children use apps and social media responsibly, how to make safe choices in the face of online security threats and why being open about online activity with your family is important. You will walk away with tools and new resources to help your family make better choices online.

We will also hold a student session, having an open discussion about how to be safe online citizens, and other fun activities.

98% of kids 8 years and younger have access to a smart device. It’s important that our families know how to keep each other safe and be the best versions of ourselves online. We hope to see you on May 13th from 6-7:30 p.m. to get the conversation started! Dinner will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m. and there will be door prizes including a new Google Pixelbook!
